Being a small but professional team allows us to provide sound reliable advice whilst maintaining strong client relationships; we aim to be proactive whilst adopting a friendly, common sense approach to clients accounting and taxation requirements.

We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Main duties will include:

- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnership and limited company's up to trial balance.
- Bookkeeping including entering clients’ prime records onto a Cloud Software.
- Preparing VAT returns.

There may be other duties such as covering other team members in their absence, as expected within a small practice environment.

This position would suit an AAT qualified individual or someone currently studying AAT.

Experience with Cloud Accounting software would be an advantage, but training can be provided.

Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.

Office hours; Monday - Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm (lunch 1.00pm to 2.00pm) & Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- No weekends

- Ilfracombe EX34 8AL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
