**Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Senior QC Scientist to join the QC department of a central London based Cell and Gene Therapy company.**

In this position, you would be responsible for testing raw materials and finished product to GMP standards. You will also directly manage more junior QC team members and schedule their work.

**Your responsibilities as a Senior QC Scientist would be to**:

- Carry out analytical testing of gene therapy products using a range of techniques including, but not limited to, qPCR, ELISA and HPLC.
- Maintain and calibrate the analytical equipment and ensure all facilities are GMP compliant.
- Support the maintenance of the QMS and document control.
- Carry out all management duties for a team of more junior members of the QC department.
- Holds a degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Is experienced carrying out advanced analytical techniques on gene therapy products.
- Has significant experience working within an analytical laboratory under GMP regulations.
- Has line managed other members of staff in the past.
