This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience with collection strategy, data, analytics and is looking to follow a career path in Credit Risk. Remote working options available. **Key responsibilities include**: - End-to-end management of collections strategies, pilots and champion challenges on a test-and-learn / continuous improvement basis. - Ongoing reporting on the efficacy of existing strategies. - Conduct statistical analysis, forecasting and data mining of various datasets to shape and guide decision-making across several strategic areas. - Support other analytical teams in delivering data, models, analysis and insight which will be used to identify emerging threats, report on trends in high-risk segments, delivered in line with regulatory and industry requirements. - Provide analytics into efficacy of fraud prevention and detection strategies. - Monitor effectiveness of collections models. - Input into the development of all new product, process and system redesigns to ensure that fraud is appropriately considered to the extent that it supports fraud analytics and insights. - Work with other members of the credit risk team and business to ensure an effective "feedback loop" from learnings in-life to inform fraud prevention analysis. - Providing analytical support to other analysts in the Credit Risk team. - Ensuring that strategies enable 'good customer outcomes’ and protect its customers from detriment. - Work with other areas of the business to ensure strategies are implemented in a timely manner and communicated effectively, ensuring successful post-implementation monitoring. - Ensuring that data and internal reporting is accurate and compliant. - Assist in the delivery of effective governance framework. - Adhering to FCA conduct rules. **Previous experience and qualifications**: - Proven experience of working with data, analytics and management reporting. - Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Proficient with Microsoft SQL. - 3+ years’ experience of Collections and Collection Strategy - Legal and regulatory understanding of collections within consumer finance. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Comfortable working with / presenting to senior managers. - Good positive attitude to working with others. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional problem-solving skills using logical reasoning. - Ability to work face-to-face and in a virtually environment (via MS Teams, for example).
