**Christchurch Kindergarten Children's Nursery **is a friendly private Kindergarten, providing quality pre-school education within a welcoming, safe and caring environment. Children enjoy learning to develop as individuals through their program of intellectual, social, creative and physical activities. They take children from the age of 12 months to 5 years, and they are open 51 weeks per year.

At Christchurch Kindergarten children flourish in a high quality and caring environment where learning is achieved in a fun and stimulating way whilst playing.

Thier aim is to help each child meet their full potential in all areas of developmental needs. They are committed to developing the child's emotional and social confidence by providing opportunities for choices and decision making to enhance their interests and maximize their own abilities.

**The main responsibilities of this job role will include**:

- Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
- Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
- Assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements, which will also benefit in the Childcare Apprenticeship.
- Being a team player.
- Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately to meet the Apprenticeship requirements.
- Taking part in First Aid training as required.
- Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in the Apprenticeship Standards or appropriate legal requirements as required within the childcare setting.
- Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to during the Childcare Apprenticeship.
- Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
- Working with teams across the nursery setting
- Supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations towards your Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
- Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
- Supporting children’s self-help needs.
- Being creative and enthusiastic.
- Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £4.81 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Middlesex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
