Degree Apprentice

Here at GXO, we’re proud to be recruiting in Wellingborough for our degree apprenticeship programme in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. Over three and a half years, you’ll earn while you learn, gaining skills across all our business areas. You’ll be on a permanent contract from day one and at the end of the scheme, you’ll come out of it with a degree in Professional Supply Chain Leadership and a future career with GXO Best of all, your degree will be fully funded by us, at no cost to you.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a starting salary of £18,500 per annum, which will increase each year. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Work across a variety of our departments, from warehousing to human resources and health and safety, to gain a well-rounded view of GXO, our customers and the wider logistics world
- Gain the confidence, experience and skills to lead and support your own team
- Follow your own bespoke training plan, with the support of an experienced mentor and regular progress reviews to develop your skills and experience
- Attend Sheffield Hallam University on a block release basis (once every six to seven weeks), working towards your fully funded degree in Professional Supply Chain Leadership

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- A minimum of 112 UCAS points (equivalent to BBC grades at A level)
- A strong work ethic with the capability to work on your own initiative to drive your own career and development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ambition and a genuine desire to learn and grow - this is a career and not just a job, and there will be a variety of development opportunities on offer during the scheme and beyond
- An adaptable approach with the flexibility to work across multiple departments and shift patterns
