Motion Graphic Artist

**We are looking for an experienced Motion Graphic Artist to join our team in Nottingham.**

Greentube UK Ltd, a leading online games studio are now looking for an extraordinary individual to add to their outstanding Graphics team.

There are two areas to the role as a Motion Graphic Artist. Firstly, you will be responsible for creating industry-leading game trailers and all marketing assets as part of a marketing requirements package. Secondly, you will join the Video team - following and conceptualizing on creative briefs for game play video production by creating, finishing and crafting your own motion graphics alongside assets supplied by our internal Senior Artists and external Artists whilst working with our team of Game Designers to bring a game to life. A game delivery package will follow this process with clear guidance for our Software teams. This position reports into the Graphics Manager.

**Your Profile**:

- Proficient in editing using Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, and other relevant editorial software and plugins including Maxon. Spine would be an advantage.
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills.
- Experience in gameplay capture and creation.
- Ability to work to deadlines and adapt creatively when adjusted.
- Passion and understanding of gaming, with a player’s point of view is especially important.
- A portfolio or demo reel show casing video work.
- 2 years of experience in the video gaming industry working on equivalent forms of assets would be an advantage.
- Able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
- Able to give and take creative suggestions for all projects that go through the graphics department.
- Eager to learn new technologies.
- Can approach problems from different perspectives.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Creating animated game banners.
- Working closely with the company's sales teams to fulfil ad-hoc marketing graphic requests.
- Designing game trailers for our IPs from scratch using a combination of gameplay capture, motion graphics and sound.
- Video visuals for brand new game play with motion graphics, effects and sound using creative briefs and assets supplied by any of our graphic artists/game designers.
- Games Design Package Delivery - full asset optimisation and export of assets with documentation input of entities, animations and all details into a format used by our Software teams.
- Brainstorm ideas with the wider teams in collaborative meetings.
- Ensuring high standards and correct processes throughout the development lifecycle.
- Liaising with other departments regarding asset limitations and problem solving.
- Have good PC housekeeping skills
