**Introduction**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cleaner to join a busy Facilities Team within the following Stoke on Trent Cluster 2 Buildings.

The Facilities team are seen as being an integral part of the day to day running of the trust.

The post holder will be responsible for a full range of cleaning duties:
- Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with designated cleaning schedules (include operating specialist equipment)
- Carrying out a specialist cleaning provision in line with advised cleaning standards
- Ensuring there is a clean, pleasant and well maintained environment for service users

**Skills and Experience**
- Full training will be given for the role which will include the British Institute of Cleaning Science, License to Practice. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, as would previous NHS experience.
- Full corporate training will also be given e.g. Fire, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Information Governance.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Good communication and interactive skills

Hours: 5pm to 8pm Pay per hour: - £9.49

We are looking to recruit 1 x 15 hour posts to work within MPFT buildings within North Staffordshire.

Housekeepers are responsible to provide and maintain cleaning to office, clinical and communal areas within the Trust Health Centres and Hospitals, Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients.

**Applicant to be flexible at covering: Blurton HC, Burslem HC, Hanley HC, Norton HC, Smallthorne HC & Stoke HC**

**1 x pm post 5pm - 8pm**

**Holiday pay - paid at normal rate no enhancement**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: From £9.49 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
