- An exciting opportunity to work in Cornwall Foundation NHS Trust’s Centre for Mental Health and Justice. This 8A Clinical/ Applied Psychology post involves delivering and coordinating clinical services to the Community Forensic Service. The post is held within the Centre for Mental Health and Justice which delivers four strands of clinical activity including the Probation focussed Offender Personality Disorder pathway, the Homelessness Vulnerability Liaison Service, the Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Service and the Forensic Service._- The Community Forensic Team aims to support other services and agencies to manage the risk of harm to others by delivering a Consultation Clinic and Pathway, which will be coordinated by the successful applicant. This pathway involves delivering a range of mental health, adjustment, personality and offending behaviour assessments to service users who’s care is managed by other services of the Trust and sometimes beyond. The work is challenging and interesting, calling on the full breadth of an Applied Psychologists skillset._
- The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the wide range of activities of the Centre, including service evaluation projects, service development, risk management training and Multi-Agency Public Protection work. Applications are invited from those operating at Band 8A currently and those with relevant experience at Band 7._
