**Job Summary**
We are seeking a butchery assistant to join our small team. This role involves assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meat products while adhering to strict food safety standards.

**Duties** to include
- Packaging free-range pork products, mainly bacon
- Supporting two butchers in the preparation of free-range pork products with any necessary presentation tasks
- Making sausage rolls
- Flexibility to assist in serving customers on our weekly shop days
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food production or culinary roles is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

This role would suit somebody who is looking for part time, flexible hours, maybe around child care/school hours.

We are a small team of three providing a laid back, friendly atmosphere to work.

Hours can be flexible as long as the jobs are finished, but ideally hours spread across a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week

Work Location: In person
