CNC Machinist

**JOB- CNC Machinist**
**LOCATION- Somerset**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £25,000- £35,000 per annum dependent on experience **My client is looking to take on a CNC Machinist with either Milling or Turning experience, on a permanent basis, in the Somerset area.
**The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing or similar or be QBE
- Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
- Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Miller / Turner - experience in Fanuc, Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls
- Operate and programme milling machines fitted with Wynmax controls is desired
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
- Any programming skills would be desirable but not essential
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

**The CNC Machinist will involve**:

- Working with CNC machinery and producing plastic components
- Running multiple machines - small to medium batch work
- Inspecting components as required
- CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Adhering to company H&S requirements
- Have a flexible approach to work
