Taylor Hawkes are working with a leading Top 10 Firm who are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant in their Milton Keynes Office, in this role, you will provide a quality professional service within the FCA regulatory reporting and advisory teamwhich is part of the wider Business Services team.

The Business Services team are dedicated to providing the full complement of outsourced services that covers accounting and other administrative functions such as management accounting, VAT and regulatory reporting.

**Key aspects of the role include**:

- Facilitating the preparation of periodic returns for FCA regulated clients.
- Liaising with clients in your portfolio and acting as the primary point of contact.
- Preparing underlying calculations to support regulatory returns from internally and externally produced accounting information / other relevant data.
- Providing general accounting and professional services assistance to clients in the preparation of regulatory returns, for example monitoring capital adequacy from underlying accounting information.
- Providing ad hoc advisory services to the Firm’s financial services sector clients as required.

**You are the right person for the role if you**:

- Are ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent
- Have excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Have experience of preparing statutory and/or management accounts including cash-flows
- Have the ability to review a file and junior team members’ work
- Possess excellent client relationship skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing
