Senior Property Surveyor

**Senior Surveyor (North Midlands)**

**Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, home working with travel**

**Salary: £50,022 plus car allowance at £6,200**

**About the role**

Reporting into the Head of Property, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of property investment, service & inspection, and repairs services to parts of the property portfolio, as well as managing a team of surveyors within the North Midlands area.

Working with the Investment Planning team, Quantity Surveying team and Property SLT, you will ensure timely delivery of services, ensuring all properties are kept in a good condition within property strategy targets, planning robust financial forecasting, identifying cost savings through collaboration with contractor and quantity surveying team.

The role will involve a mix of home working and visiting locations in the region or offices to best support the team.

**What you’ll need**:

- Substantial experience of managing property within the social housing environment.
- Recent experience in contract management of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Knowledge and experience of delivery of investment and repairs activities to a housing portfolio.
- Experience of project management of investment, compliance services and/or reactive maintenance work.
- Ability to create reporting approaches which give clear analysis of current and projected delivery and adapt them to meet changing business needs.
- Experience of providing a Learning and Development culture for yourself, your team, and the organisation
