Hilldales are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to work in our 56-bed care home in Ilfracombe

THE ROLE
- General maintenance of the home
- Maintaining equipment and keeping up to date records
- Carrying out regular tests and checks such as fire alarms, water, equipment and PAT testing
- Completing relevant paperwork including health and safety audits and risk assessments
- Painting and decorating
- Liaise with the Home Manager and/or Managing Director regarding any problems

THE RIGHT PERSON
- To be flexible to suit the needs of the home and able to prioritise workload
- Must have experience in general maintenance, care home maintenance experience is desirable
- Experience of working both independently and in a team
- Basic plumbing & electrical works essential

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
