Our Company was formed to address the problems of the income collection process in schools and we now have over 2,500 schools across 145 Local Authorities Nationwide, using our systems. Over 500,000 parents are also registered to pay online using our secure online payment system.

POSITION:
The Lead Generator will be a vital part of the sales team responsible for selling our Software and Services, and reports to the Head of Sales. It will be the Lead Generators role to work with our National Account Managers to ensure that all agreed targets are met, or exceeded by providing a consistent supply of leads and validated contact information for Multi Academy Trusts, Caterers and Local Authorities.

The Lead Generator will generate qualified new business leads for the sales team through a combination of cold calling, conducting sales campaigns by working with the marketing team to support social campaigns and complement other communication streams and networking with contacts in the industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Head of Sales responsibilities will include:

- Proactively make outbound calls and spend a large part of your time on the phone helping to build relationships
- Maintaining and developing the quality of data held in our CRM system by the business to aid our marketing output
- Learn, adopt and adhere to the company sales guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with devising and implementing lead generation activities, as required. Qualify, develop and manage a lead through to demonstration stage, whether sourced or provided by Companies. Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods as per the SOP.
- Develop and maintain a sales pre-demonstration pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Ensure all monthly targets (KPIs) set by management and agreed on in advance are met or exceeded. This will necessitate some or all of the following activities:

- Identifying the needs and wants of a potential customer.
- Presenting the Company solution without misrepresentation.
- Handling objections from potential sales opportunities.
- Fulfilling reporting requirements to the Sales Manager according to the deadlines set for the Department.
- Understand Company’s product portfolio to be able to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain an awareness of industry trends
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads.
- Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sales and delivery of the products, or related third party products, as directed by the management team from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in an outbound Telephone Sales or Lead Generation role is desireable.
- Relevant professional sales training and experience.
- The ability to build and foster business relationships.
- A good degree of computer literacy and technical competency.
- Software sales experience and/or selling into the Education sector is an advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and job responsibilities and uncapped commission will be paid for this role.
