**Developer /Configuration Analyst**

**City of London 1 day per week, 4 days from home**

**£40,000 - £45,000**

The Configuration Analyst will work in a team which sits within the Actuarial function. The wider Actuarial function assists in evaluating business performance and provide management with a clear, risk-based view for making decisions on business strategyand risk mitigation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating, deploying and managing the process for new product specifications to be developed in RuleBook
- Updating and managing the process for changes to product specifications for implemented RuleBook products
- Configuration of RuleBook products including the drafting of documents, development of user interfaces, workflow tools and portals
- Working with stakeholders to elicit, document, configure and test requirements
- Managing and maintaining the quality of data at each stage in the reporting process

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience of configuring and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within in a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be useful.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate and prioritise business requirements into technical solutions is highly desirable
- An understanding of technology in product development is highly desirable
- An understanding of full project lifecycle in a structured environment would be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies
