Summary The National Trust are looking for a Project Manager who will work closely on a combined project with the International National Trust Organisations (INTO).
INTO brings the global National Trust family together to share knowledge and tools for the protection of cultural and natural heritage. Their network of more than 90 heritage NGOs share best practice and promote the National Trust model for conservation.
What it's like to work here At the National Trust, we look after over 28k buildings across 250k hectares of land and many of our places are vulnerable to climate change. We will be working closely alongside INTO who bring together a network of more than 90 heritage NGOs to share bestpractice and promote the National Trust model for conservation.
As this role will work on an international project, some travel may be required to East Africa and the Middle East, though this would potentially be limited to one trip to reduce our carbon emissions.
What you'll be doing This role will manage bid delivery for the part of the National Trust. The role will report into the Senior National Consultant for Heritage & Climate who will be the technical lead for the project within the National Trust. The project manager will be requiredto liaise with the INTO project manager, the INTO project officer and international partners for the project. Chiefly responsible for the delivery of the National Trust’s six interpretation and engagement campaigns as part of the INTO project across NT properties,which will be twinned with international partners for the purposes of knowledge sharing in climate change adaptation across historic places.
The role will have some budget holder responsibility and will coordinate and progress the development of the National Trust’s Climate Change Adaptation Guidance for Historic and Beautiful Places, working with UK charities and regulators to prioritise topicsof need for practitioners and caretakers of historic places. The role requires online meeting coordination, attending meetings with INTO and reporting back to the NT technical lead.

**- Experience of successfully managing and delivering end to end projects
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills, able to confidently work with senior leaders
- Experience of managing stakeholder relationships
- Experience of communications
- Strong presentation and IT skills and ability to write reports
- Some interest in the historic environment (relating to landscapes, buildings, monuments, historic estates or a combination)
