**Marketing and Administrative Assistant**

About Us:
Balfour Winery is one of England's leading wine producers and creates award winning wines, beers and ciders in Staplehurst, Kent. The beautiful 400-acre Estate is home to our vineyards, apple orchards and state of the art winery and world class visitor centre.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time marketing and administrative assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in marketing and is willing to learn the ropes.

**About you**:

- Have excellent written and spoken English
- Be bright, positive, and enthusiastic with a real ‘can do’ attitude.
- Be a self-starter, have strong initiative and an eye for detail.
- Enjoy administrative duties and be highly organised in their day-to-day activities
- Have an interest in social media management
- Excellent computer literacy with programmes such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc
- Possess a confident telephone manner and the ability to have effective conversations with our clients, suppliers and guests is also crucial
- An ability to think outside the box and have an eye for detail
- Knowledge of website management packages such as WordPress is preferred

**Summary of Responsibilities**

This job is full of variety, and you’ll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. There is also a lot of customer and supplier contact with the job, we expect you to promote yourself and Balfour Winery with great pride.

As Marketing and Administrative Assistant, you will have a varied role which would suit a motivated, enthusiastic team player. You will often be the first point of contact for our customers, guests, and suppliers and as such will play a vital role in providing a great first impression of Balfour Winery.

The job will involve various admin and marketing duties such as assisting the Digital Marketing Executive in managing the company’s websites and social media channels, along with all third-party sites, ensuring that the information provided is correct, engaging, and reflective of our brand messaging.

You will also need to assist in some design work for events and the cellar door retail space.

Additionally, you will need to be extremely proactive, someone who will get things done and not wait to be told what to do.

Training will be given on all Balfour Winery systems, and you will be supported by the Digital Marketing Executive and Commercial Director.

**20 days holiday + bank holidays, for each years’ service an additional 1 day is given (capped at 25 days)**

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

- Tonbridge, TN12 0HT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
