1:1 Tuition Available - English and maths

Teaching Personnel is looking for tutors to join our books for tuition referrals, the details are as follows:

- Secondary age students
- Students who have additional needs - including challenging behaviour, SEN, mental health difficulties
- Looked After Children (LAC) who may be new to the borough
- Each student is allocated between 1-3 hours per day, and between 3-5 days per week
- You can fit as many students per day into your diary as you like, dependent on when you have availability for them
- Students need to be tutored in **both maths and English**, they will be studying at either functional skills level or foundation GCSE level

You will be asked to provide tuition face to face, in either a local library, or the family home, or the foster home, or a residential children’s home. The boroughs giving us tuition referrals now include Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley.

Tuition must be delivered during school hours (any time between 9am in the morning and 4pm in the afternoon - exact timings to be agreed between yourself and the parent/carer).
- £25/hour pay rate - we are a PAYE company (no umbrella company)
- On top of your hourly pay rate we also pay an extra 12% towards your National Insurance and Pension contributions
- You have freedom to choose the structure of your sessions, including which topics you would like to deliver and in what order
- You will be asked to report back briefly just once per week, on topics covered, attendance and student engagement/progress

Most tuition referrals are long term and will last until the end of the summer term in July. We resume taking new referrals in September.
