Pro Locums 24 is currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic senior support worker or Team Leader for our supported accommodation service for young people (16-18) based in the Runcorn area, the position is fulltime permanent.

**No Sponsorship**
- You will need 1 years’ experience or have life experience working with young people
- 1 years’ experience managing a staff team of support workers or running shifts
- Salary £26000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, some flexibility required when needed
- 9am-5pm
- No personal Care
- Your own car and a UK driving licence is mandatory for this role

Duties can vary depending on the setting but can include.
- assisting and planning support requirements,
- monitoring people's mental health
- helping to promote and maintain an environment and lifestyle conducive to meeting the needs of the young people
- managing a team of support workers
- Develop strong partnerships with LA’s and other organisations
- OFSTED and local authority inspections of service
- Supervisions, appraisals and Team meetings
- Quality performance monitoring

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 12 months ideally 2 years recent work experience as a support worker for young people
- Ideally 1 years experience running and managing a team of support workers
- Your own car (mandatory)
- Current DBS on the online update service (this will speed up the process)
- Up to date mandatory training certificates (this will speed up the process)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
