A new opportunity has just become available and we’re looking for a Introducer Channel MarketingLead to join our team for a 9-month secondment.

Our aim with this is to help innovation, creativity and you to thrive. This role is predominantly home working and you will only need to come into our Datchet office once or twice a month.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**Main duties**

**Deliver commercial objectives**
- Work with Introducer Channel Manager and wider team to deliver individual channel introductions and free cover targets through traditional in-clinic/in charity activity and via breeders.

**Channel development**:

- Support the development and execution of the channel marketing strategy.
- Craft scalable channel marketing programmes which drive loyalty and support our partners’ position to recommend Petplan.
- Review and enhance the experience of vets, charities and breeders to ensure the day-to-day experience partners have with Petplan is positive.

**Channel campaign management**:

- Oversee the management and implementation of B2B marketing campaigns for the vet, breeder and charity channels including reward, incentive and engagement. Ensure the team considers the full marketing mix and utilises the most effective promotional tactics including: Digital, social, PR, events, and direct.
- Oversee the rollout of the overarching marketing strategy at events, as well as the supporting the crafting of event specific messaging, objectives and branding.
- Responsibility for the provision of traditional and digital sales support tools used by the Field Sales team and online including training and pitch documents.
- Ownership of partner websites - petplanvet.co.uk, petbreeder.co.uk and petplancharity.co.uk.
- Ownership of partner journeys and digital communications co-ordinated through Marketo.
- Support wider team with pitch documents as necessary.
- Attend industry and partner events alongside the field sales team.

**Customer journey**
- Ownership of the B2C materials within vet clinics, charities and breeder that support Petplan’s customer acquisition journey.
- Ownership of Introduction and covernote issuing processes and supporting communication materials delivered by the partner to the customer, ensuring all customer communications delivered by Petplan or the partner are in line with regulatory status of the partner.

**Campaign reporting**
- Work closely with Data & Insight team to understand channel and campaign-specific performance.

**Team leadership and professional development**:

- Responsible for the line management of Senior and Junior Marketing Executives as well as graduate rotations.
- Mentor and develop marketing and business skills held within the team to support the continuous professional development of all direct reports.
- Continue to learn and develop new marketing skills and practices to improve and optimise your performance and ensure achievement of both partner and Petplan’s business targets.

**Technical skills**
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision and to interact with all organisational levels.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously while meeting partner and business deadlines.
- Proven success in a client or partner facing role within a marketing context, with experience managing partner demands.
- Creative thinker that will stretch the boundaries of traditional sales generating activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- You will possess excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong ability to understand and interpret data.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the proven ability to work collaboratively and build rapport with key internal stakeholders and external audiences and partners at all levels.
- Developed leadership and team management skills with a passion for people development and collaboration within and across teams.
- You will be an innovator and a problem-solver, who can drive performance by motivating and training your partners and accounts.
- Must be a confident, self-motivated, people person who is skilled at time management and able to work on their own as well as part of a team.

**Experience**
- Strong experience successfully delivering collaborative channel marketing and engagement campaigns.
- Experience working within a Financial Services or a pet-related industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Experienced team leader/manager with a proven track record mentoring and leading a successful and happy team.
