Mechanical Inspector

Mechanical Inspector - c£18ph - Witham

A precision engineering company based in Witham are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join their team. We are looking for someone who has mechanical inspection experience.

The role is paying up to £18ph working a 37.5hr week between Monday and Thursday with Fridays effectively an overtime day when available. Overtime is paid at x1.5.

Inspector duties:

- Using micro-height (TESA)
- Use inspection equipment including micrometers, gauges and bespoke measuring equipment
- To assist in improving the process capability of machined components
- support to the production team by troubleshooting using an array of in depth inspection techniques on a daily basis

Skills & experience needed:

- 5 years experience in an Inspector role
- Previous mechanical inspector knowledge
- Have some experience using Micro-height would be ideal
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
