Activity Coach

**Job Summary**:
Kinetic Sports Group are looking for a Sports Coach / Activity Coach to join our holiday camp team to work at our HAF venues over the school holidays.

The HAF programme runs from 9am-3pm weekdays and includes a variety of sports and craft activities, as well as special guests and inflatable days.

The HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) Programme runs over the holidays as a free provision for children who receive benefit related free school meals. While they're at camp they get a hot meal at lunch time and a snack.

As a team member at the holiday camps you will lead activities and supervise the children throughout the day. Activities can range from arts and crafts to football to hoverboarding. We have special guests come in such as Magician, Animals 2 U and Space Dome. You will also have the opportunity to work at our School Holiday Camps delivering fun and enriching activities to children of various ages.

Kinetic Sports Group are a sports coaching company based in Torbay, Devon that specialises in the teaching, coaching and childcare industry. Kinetic Sports Group began in 2016 with a vision to inspire the next generation to keep active, and we now work in 16 schools across South Devon delivering high quality PE lessons, school clubs and holiday camps.

**Key roles and job expectations**:

- Delivering fun and engaging physical activity and craft sessions within our School Holiday Camps.
- Attending relevant professional development training days/courses organised by Kinetic Sports Group.
- Carrying out duties in accordance with the companies policies, including equal opportunities; child protection and safeguarding; and health and safety.

**Salary**: £11.44-£13.00 per hour

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a level 2 qualification within a childcare setting
- Experience working with children in a coaching or school environment
- Enhanced DBS (this can be done after appointment to the role)
- Ability to travel to various school locations
- A clear passion for working with children

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

Pay: £11.44-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
