Due to our continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our NMSB Builder's Merchant in New Milton. We are recruiting for a Trainee Counter and Yard Operative to join their team, serving both our Trade customers and general public. This role will involve physical yard work and driving a counter balance fork lift.

About the role
- Serving our customers in the Builders Merchant.
- Correct recording and completion of tickets.
- Dealing with Customer orders as required.
- Ensure that our products are of good quality and displayed in line with Company guidelines
- Develop strong relationships with key customers.
- Your responsibilities will be to pick and load building and landscaping products for customer collections and deliveries.
- Unload and receive goods in from suppliers.
- Complete daily inspection reports.
- Compliance to Health and Safety requirements at all times.
- Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
- Maintains quality service by enforcing excellent customer service standards

Who are we looking for
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is preferred but training will be provided
- High level of customer service
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- Knowledge of building and landscaping materials would be helpful, fill training will be given
- Organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Personable, outgoing and a team player.
