TLTP are working with secondary schools based in Enfield who require flexible staff to work as a Cover supervisor and help support staff and the learning of students. Our schools rely on TLTP to provide cover for qualified teachers, unqualified teachers, andteaching assistants for both short and long-term assignments.
As the new cover supervisor your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
You will supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers following lesson plans that have been set and ensuring students have completed tasks set
Engaging and being pro active with students
You will be required to follow the behaviour policy of the school
Strong classroom management
Communicating with staff members regarding students' progress
You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities
Can I work as a cover supervisor in schools?
Are you a graduate keen to pursue a career in teaching?
Are you primary or FE trained and would like to transition into secondary school settings?
Are you a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching assistant keen for the next step in your career?
Are you a Youth worker or Sports coach who would like to work in a classroom setting?
Do you currently work as a Cover Supervisor and would like continuity in your work?
