IWJS are a growing business with over 40 years’ experience of delivering sewer services, waste management and industrial cleaning to essential infrastructure services across the UK - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. IWJS are part of our client.

IWJS are looking to recruit a professional to join the southern region leadership team who will be based in their Heathrow depot. The role will also require occasional travel to various depot locations across the UK.

As a member of our client you will provide visible support of all aspects of our client, promoting our client's culture which is consistent with IWJS and business leadership ambitions. You will also be actively involved in working with contract leadershipteams to ensure their sites comply with company procedures and client requirements.

**As a Professional your duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Keeping up to date with legislation and industry guidance to ensure compliance and promote continuous improvement
- Establish effective communications and dialogue within IWJS and with our client, attending meetings as required.
- Provide our client support training and mentoring to all levels of management and supervision.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of appropriate safe Systems of Work such as our client's Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Effectively monitor our client's performance through defined KPI’s.
- Undertake inspections and audits, record findings, advise management as appropriate and provide effective analysis and follow up actions within designated timescales.
- Undertake incident investigation to identify root cause and appropriate recommendations to mitigate reoccurrence. Produce and facilitate close out of incident reports to designated timescale.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presenting, and listening
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role as a professional
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce reports to high standard.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of ISO’s 45001, 14001 and 9001.
- A systematic approach to problem solving.
- Good team ethic with the ability to build constructive relationships with staff and Client bodies.
- Ability to motivate and positively influence operational teams.
- Flexible approach to working in order to achieve targets and delivery dates.
- Full driving licence
- Relevant experience in Utilities / Wastewater industry desirable
- Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and use of the internet
- Environment training such as IEMA certificate desirable
