Monitor Cleaning Services is recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor/Daytime Janitor to lead and motivate our team of Cleaning Operatives and ensure duties are carried out to a high standard on behalf of our client.

Part time however with future potential to expand in to a full time role.

Shift Times:
14:30-16:30 (Daytime Janitor)

16:30-19:00 Supervision
- **Duties Will Include**:_
- Monitoring performance of the cleaning team by carrying out regular checks of all areas of the building
- Contribute to all cleaning tasks, where required to assist the cleaning team.
- Manage and maintain cleaning stores and consumables.
- Effectively organise the cleaning duties of the Cleaning Operatives.
- Working closely with the Duty Manager to delegate and share in supervisory tasks where necessary.
- Effectively arrange cover and overtime when there are staff absences or additional tasks to be carried out.
- Ensuring that equipment is safe to use and in good working order, reporting all defects of equipment to the client.
- Training & HR responsibilities for new starters
- Health & Safety responsibilities - Ensuring adherence to Monitor Cleaning Services Health & Safety Policy and Procedures at all times.
- Reporting all incidents/accidents promptly and taking corrective action where required.
- Helping create a positive safety culture across the team.
- **What are we looking for?**_
- Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor/day time janitor is essential.
- Experience in staffing, rotas, and training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A willingness to learn new things and a flexible approach to work tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail required.
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Ability to travel to satellite site therefore own transport would be an advantage.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £11.90 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
