A leading defence technology business require a Procurement Manager. The Procurement Manager will develop and manage a supply chain partners, in support of bid activities and will also be responsible for on-going supplier and contract management.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for supporting bid and new business activities in two of our clients, busiest workstreams. The business focus on the development, of cutting-edge technology solutions in the fields of cyber security, AI and machinelearning. An exciting end-to-end procurement role, the Procurement will develop supply chain capabilities and ensure the effective flow-down of MOD T&Cs into supplier and subcontractor agreements.

Specific duties of the Procurement Manger:

- Supply market intelligence activities, the identification and on-boarding of supplier / subcontractor partners
- Encouraging supply chain collaboration and the development of work-share, teaming and partnering agreements
- Establishing framework agreements
- Ensure effective flow-down of MOD T&Cs - DEFCONS, DEFSTANS etc. into supplier/subcontractor agreement
- Support management teams within each business unit, in terms of shaping procurement/commercial strategy
- Procurement programme management activities

Procurement Manger applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Experience in working with; defence, government and similar security agencies
- Supply chain architecture and supply chain management expertise, on defence projects/programmes
- The ability to foster supply chain collaboration - sharing of IP, software, collaboration agreements etc.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially motivated and compliant.
