We are looking for ambitious medically qualified individuals (with current GMC registration) who wish to start a career as a clinical academic in multiple sclerosis / neuroimmunology research by pursuing a PhD in a world-class research environment.

**The Opportunity**:
A clinical research PhD fellow is required for delivery-research of the FutureMS precision medicine study, a major Scotland-wide MS longitudinal cohort study led by the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.

Based primarily in Glasgow, the research fellow will lead, with site-specific support, maintenance and assessment of the 440-person FutureMS longitudinal observational cohort across Scotland at the 5 project sites (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness) while being mentored to undertake an original linked research project towards a PhD in multiple sclerosis and/or neuroimmunology research. The research discipline and topics can be tailored according to the individual’s experience and interests.

You will benefit from the supervision and mentoring of internationally leading clinical and non-clinical investigators. You will produce data for high-quality publications, grant proposals and dissemination to the public, as well as receiving training in transferable skills. At the end of your fellowship, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to compete as an independent investigator in the area of translational or clinical research.
