WE are working with a long standing client who are a womenswear multi product high street supplier who have instructed us to find a well versed Garment Technologist with a solid track record in Outerwear and Soft separates.

Based in West London the company have a large client base from young fashion to high street retail the technologist hired with be involved with all types of retailers

Duties
Attending and taking fit meetings with retailers both on and off site
Effectively communicating amendments and instructions to factories in the Far East and Europe.
Measuring samples accurately, construction evaluating and updating workbooks prior to each fit meeting.
Deal with all customer/factory queries at any stage of development
Developing graded size charts, providing basic blocks
Regularly consulting Merchandising, attending critical path meetings to ensure samples are sealed to deadlines.
Consulting with pattern cutters and sample machinists to ensure solutions have been reached and consistency is achievable in production.
Work with Production Managers and Factory owners to develop existing and engage new systems

**MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED -**
We are looking for a well versed Technologist ideally from a recent womenswear soft separates supplier background who has some experience of working on outerwear too, we are talking minimum 5 years as a Garment tech
A personality capable of leading fit meetings, making comments and working closely with retailers and factories
Able to lead from the front
Excellent Communicator, team player and leader
MUST BE UK BASED
