My client based in Stoke on Trent are on the lookout for a time served electrically biased maintenance engineer to join the team The role consists of carrying on site breakdown repairs and fault finding alongside any installations, maintenance and inspectionsacross a multitude of their different customers sites.
**The suitable Maintenance Engineer Must have**:

- Full UK driving Licence
- Experience of electrically biased engineering
- 18th Edition Regulation Certificate

**The Suitable Maintenance Engineer will**:

- have time served mechanical engineering or electrical qualifications within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Experience in a customer facing field service role, preferably within a similar industry
- The ability / knowledge to make decisions on site which are in the interests of both the company and the customer
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated and able to work on their own initiative
- The ability to read mechanical / electrical drawings.
- You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
- Reactive and planned maintenance skills.
- Problem solving / breakdown analysis.
- A level of PLC fault finding skills. (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens S5 / S7)
- Good electrical installation skills.
- Basic mechanical problem solving.
- Proactive approach to engineering.
- PLC qualification an advantage.

**Job Details**:

- Salary: £38'000+ Depending on experience
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.
