Hours: Full Time, Permanant
**Salary**: Scale 3, £20118 - £21399
As a Service Delivery Administrator, you will provide support across Information and Communications Technology for North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services and the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. You will perform administrative responsibilities that follow the ICT technology strategy and road map to deliver on the organisation’s priorities.
ICT systems play a major part in how we serve our local communities, right from when we receive an emergency call through to our response teams dealing with an incident. We ensure we offer an efficient and effective service to support our front-line services in protecting the public whilst assisting Police Officers and Fire Fighters in performing their critical duties.
You will be an integral part of the Service Delivery team; You will perform administrative responsibilities that follow the ICT technology strategy and road map to deliver on the organisation’s priorities. Through positive engagement with key stakeholders, you will be able to feedback to line management to ensure that the service delivered supports the current and future needs of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with administration of the ICT budget and the procurement and contract management for ICT purchases and licencing.
- Assist in the administration of stock control
- Contribute to the ICT service delivery strategy and roadmap
- Identify and promote to line management any opportunities to innovate, advance and improve service transition lifecycle to support the business
- Participate in service administration activities across the ICT department to time and performance quality standards.
- Provide support to line management on all aspects of service delivery administration
- Coordination service delivery administration activates between resolver teams across ICT, providing quality knowledge documentation.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Be educated to entry level in a relevant discipline or be able to demonstrate experience of working in administration within a busy multidisciplined ICT service.
- Be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Have experience in working in a highly technical customer focused service environment.
- Be a natural communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Have experience of public sector including procurement
- Have obtained the Microsoft essential IT Skills Level 2 qualification or have experience of working in an administration function in a regulated environment
