Role Overview: *
As Editorial Planner, you will primarily be responsible for **planning and calendar management **in the Editorial team. Our team works with a global network of in-house and guest writers to produce high-quality content on alternative assets, spanning private equity & venture capital, private debt, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources.
In this role, you will **oversee the Content Calendar**. We produce factsheets, articles, research notes and reports, podcasts, webinars, and more.** **Your role involves **communicating deadlines **and* content delivery objectives* to teams of writers and editors across the business, and **checking** **the** **quality **of all materials before uploading to the website via our content management system. Working closely with key stakeholders in the research insights, social media, marketing and creative services teams, you will ensure content flows smoothly towards publication.
As part of the wider Content team and reporting to the Senior Editorial Manager, this role demands a **team player** with an **exacting eye **and* strong organizational skills. **In addition to managing the flow of content from team to team, the Editorial Planner will **proofread **and** sub-edit* across Preqin’s full suite of publications, and so **excellent writing skills** and a **talent for spotting mistakes** are essential.

**Salary**: *£28k base + £2k bonus
Responsibilities**:Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the company Editorial Calendar to ensure all content/publications are scheduled appropriately and running to time, making any necessary adjustments and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Liaise with various teams across the company to represent Editorial in the planning and creation of high-quality content at every stage of the process.
- Be the first port of call for all calendar queries, and a central communicator between Editorial and global teams of writers/researchers throughout the business, helping to resolve queries and align objectives.
- Upload content to digital platforms via content management systems in accordance with the calendar.
- Check the quality of our content to ensure it meets required standards before publication, conveying identified issues promptly and constructively to the Senior Editorial Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Edit and proofread thought leadership reports, blog posts, and feature articles, elevating content to make it as exciting and engaging as possible, and ensuring it adheres to company house style and tone of voice guidelines.
Qualifications**:Key Requirements for this Role**:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. humanities, economics) from a leading university, or equivalent
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the flexibility to adjust and prioritize according to company needs
- Proven time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to communicate with - and deliver feedback to - senior stakeholders across the business
- A keen eye for detail, able to catch information or stylistic errors
- First-class editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to suggest clear, constructive improvements to ensure that analysis and thought leadership are of high quality
- Excellent writing skills in the English language, including a solid foundation in grammar and style
- Good standard of numeracy and the ability to proofread data visuals alongside copy
- Willingness to learn about alternative assets and a keen interest in financial, economic, and political developments that are shaping the industry
- Self-motivation, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
