**Home Delivery Driver**

Castle Donington, Derbyshire

Pay: £10:15 per hour

Due to the excellent and constant growth, we are currently seeking experienced van drivers for a well-established furniture company located in Castle Donington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for delivery drivers to play a pivotal role in the success of our business and will be responsible for ensuring we deliver our products in a speedy, efficient and accurate way.

Job Role
- To deliver furniture products across the UK as part of a 1-man or 2-man team to members of the public and retailers
- Loading, checking and securing various loads into and out of your van each day
- Using a phone system to complete POD’s whilst on your route, and returning any failed items in the correct manner should you fail to deliver
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Ensuring paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of the day.
- Vehicle maintenance, always being responsible for cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle.
- Working within health and safety guidelines; not taking an unnecessary risk.
- Helping out in the warehouse after deliveries are made, as and when required.
- You may be required to complete a 2-day run, which will require an overnight stay. This may happen twice a week (Tuesday eve and/or Thursday eve). Accommodation and Subsistence will be paid for by the company.

Key Skills and Experience
- Full and clean UK driving license.
- Older than 25 to be covered for driving company vehicle?
- Experience of driving a long wheel-based van/ 3.5 tonne van?
- Physically fit and experienced in manual handling as products can be heavy.
- Good knowledge of the UK
- Self-motivated, hard working team player
- Smart and polite with the ability to deal with customers on a professional level.
- Be able to report any mechanical issues with vehicle to the company.
