**Primary Objectives**
Site Reliability Engineers are responsible for keeping the StarRez products running properly. Using concepts of software and systems engineering they work to improve the reliability of our systems while keeping levels of manual work low. SREs are expected to be experienced in software engineering principals, operational discipline, and automation.
**Major Accountabilities**
- Mentoring and providing technical leadership to members of the tech team
- Make efficient use of Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms to run StarRez Services
- Design and build systems which monitor and alert the platform team when issues arise
- Drive reporting on the “Four Golden Signals” of SRE and track performance against SLA, SLI and SLO
- Advise on build deployment processes using CI/CI best practices to make deployment fast, safe and as uneventful as possible
- Coordinate incident management across the business
- Drive capacity planning to allow continued growth of StarRez, our customers and our platform
- Document operational details, design decisions and processes
- Plan and implement regular upgrades to Infrastructure services
- Optimise the Platform Infrastructure at StarRez to improve reliability, efficiency, and security
- Participate in a 24/7 oncall program

**Minimum Requirements**
- At least 5 years of experience with Azure or other Public Clouds
- Previous experience in a DevOPS or SRE team
- Exposure to Kubernetes or containers
- Troubleshooting, capacity planning and other analytical skills
- Ability to read, write or debug code in at least one programming language including C#, Go, Python, Javascript

**Preferred Requirements**
- Certifications from public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
