**Junior Shipping Clerk**

Previous experience in Logistics is not required; on the job training will be given; Suitable for school leavers.

**Salary**: From 22,800 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

**Contract type**: Temporary position (Full time)

**Junior Shipping Clerk Duties**:

- Monitor and control equipment and means of transportation necessary for efficient movement of cargo between shipside and customer's premises.
- Ensure efficient, accurate and timely production of export matters.
- Resolve invoice queries.
- Check and approve all haulier and feeder operator invoices.
- Complete weekly, monthly statistics reports for head office.
- Handle additional haulage charges and disputes.
- Despatch haulage order.
- Maintain system cost data.

**Junior Shipping Clerk Requirements**:

- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Computer literate
- Good communicator
- Reliable
- Can work under pressure
- Good attendance and time management
- Friendly
- Positive attitude
