Are you passionate about early intervention and making a tangible difference to children and young people’s mental health? We are looking for a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join our dynamic and supportive service Me & My Mind, Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Hastings, based at Cavendish House.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of educational settings (Primary, Secondary and Post-16), delivering evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions to children and young people aged 7-17 with mild to moderate mental health needs. You’ll also play a key role in shaping and delivering whole-school approaches to Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing (MHEW), working closely with Senior Mental Health Leads.

Your work will include:

- 1:1 and group interventions with children and young people
- Parent/carer sessions
- Workshops, assemblies, and staff training
- Consultations with school staff and signposting
- Supporting a Whole School Approach (WSA) to mental health

What We’re Looking For:
You will hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice, and bring:

- A commitment to inclusive, person-centred support
- Strong therapeutic and communication skills
- Experience of delivering mental health interventions
- Confidence working with children, families, and professionals in educational settings
- The ability to work collaboratively and independently

Progression to a higher grade (Single Status 10) may be available based on experience and additional responsibilities, including leading on complex cases, resource development, and contributing to service improvement.
