**Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner**

**Salary**: £22,426 - £23,635 per annum

If you’re looking for a rewarding career and to work within an inspirational team that really does make a difference, this is your opportunity to join the organisation as they launch their new and innovative Community Wellbeing Centre in Dundee.
Their new Community Wellbeing Centre will operate 24/7 to support people living with ongoing mental health challenges, or who may be in distress, when they first make contact with the centre. With the aim of addressing barriers to recovery, they will usea personalised and strengths-based approach to promote self-management, resilience building and connecting positively to Community and Third Sector and Statutory resources which support ongoing wellbeing.
**The Role**
As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner, you truly will have the ability to influence what they do, developing and implementing your ideas to showcase what you can achieve.
Demonstrating a commitment to values-base practice, you will support the successful implementation and delivery of high-quality services that make a positive difference to people. You will support and enable people to achieve their goals, maximise theirpotential and maintain a meaningful and fulfilling life in the community.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Working towards SVQ 3 or equivalent as defined by the SSSC, or commitment to achieve within specified time period
- Experience of being in a supportive and enabling role
- Demonstrate understanding of mental health, trauma & distress
- Experience of working in the mental health and recovery field
- Experience of taking a lead role in the planning and delivery of support
- Experience of a person-centred approach to recovery
- Builds good working relationships with team members and colleagues throughout the organisation
- Is aware of and understands unspoken thoughts, concerns or feelings and is skilled at helping individuals to voice these safely
