An opportunity has arisen to join our Right to Work team where you can be expected to deliver excellent customer consistently to both internal and external customers, while providing continued improvement across Sainsbury’s in understanding and adherence to great RtW practice.

In this role you will provide a high standard of advisory, technical and support services to line managers and the HR community in accordance with company policy, procedures, immigration and employment law. You may have an area of the business that you’ll be the lead Advisor for, however you’ll also get the chance to work flexibly within the RtW team to support other areas of the business

**As a **Right to Work Advisor** you’ll**:

- Provide coaching to line managers to enable them to proactively manage RtW cases within their location(s) and develop their RtW knowledge and skills. You’ll support them in adhering to compliance and good employee relations practice.
- Work with the RtW and HR Assurance manager, other advisors or BPO RtW administrators on any RtW projects to support full integration of all business areas. You’ll also ensure compliance with current Home Office legislation across the Group.
- Provide support and guidance to BPO RtW administration team to ensure compliance with correct procedures and as an escalation point for complex cases
- Work collaboratively and develop relationships with our stakeholders to support the resolution of complex RTW issues, CPTC information requests and other Home Office/Workplace Relations Commission interventions and audits.
- Provide, where required, accurate and timely correspondence to support line managers to comply with policy and processes relating to RtW.

**Our Right to Work team would love to see**:

- An understanding of delivery within an environment of multiple HR policies and procedures.
- Hold a basic knowledge of Employment Law, particularly related to the Equality Act and disciplinary matters.
- Able to deliver in line with KPIs, striving to improve personal capability.
- Ability to use sound judgement to deliver advice using a combination of experience and knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll have the ability to translate information and communicate simply to line managers and colleagues.
- Action-orientated with an ability to deliver at pace, with agility and pragmatism ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and professionally, in line with policy and procedures.
- An understanding of the need to always balance efficiency with accuracy.
- Ability to accept change, supporting the introduction of appropriate interventions and resolutions to problems.
- Good knowledge of Excel & Microsoft teams.
