_**Almond Care Children's Services are looking for Support Workers to join our team**_

Shifts are 24 hours, for example start at 7am on the Monday and work until 8am Tuesday, this includes a sleep in 11pm to 7am. These shift times may vary, between Monday to Sunday.

Paying £12.50 per hour & £73.89 sleep in rate.

We are specifically recruiting for _**Children's EBD / LD Support Workers**_ in Sileby.

Following a thorough induction and training, your duties will include:

- Supporting, mentoring and educating our children in day to day activities to develop their emotional and social needs
- Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living
- Positive engagement to encourage our children and young adults in their development
- Reporting and recording key aspects of care and developing your professional skills as part of on-going development
- Managing complex and challenging behavior.

Some personal care, social involvement and domestic chores will be required.
- Shopping
- Light housework duties
- Assisting in washing and dressing
- Attending social events
