An exciting senior leadership opportunity has arisen at **Ormiston Denes Academy**, for a fixed term period of one year to cover maternity leave. We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader who is ambitious, dedicated and determined to make a difference to students while upholding the highest standards, as an **Assistant Principal with responsibility for Behaviour and Attitudes**.

You will have a strong pastoral background, with proven experience of how they have made an impact on data and processes relating to student behaviour and able uphold and continue to develop a well embedded culture of behaviour and attitudes across the academy, so that all students embody the academy expectations of ‘Ready, Responsible, Respectful, Kind and Proud’.

You will be leading a well-established team of Year Leaders and Pastoral Managers, offering support, mentoring and advice and guidance where needed and undertake responsibilities as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

You will be:

- a creative, inspirational and well-qualified teacher with outstanding behaviour management skills and excellent pastoral, inclusion or SEND knowledge
- able to maintain standards and drive continuous improvement across the academy in all areas relating to behaviour and attitudes
- confident in the development and use of systems and data tracking
- able to effectively communicate with students, parents and staff
- keen to make a difference to the education and overall wellbeing of our students.
