We're actively searching for a freelance UX/UI Designer to join our team for an immediate start. This role will help us to refine and launch our upcoming product.

We're flexible about what days you work and how many hours - it could be two days a week for an initial 3-month contract or full-time for a 1-month contract.

**Rate**: £150 per day

**Overview**:
Pawpass is building the first-ever digital ID for animals to digitise veterinary paperwork, vaccine history and travel documentation. Although we have big goals (every pet in the UK needs a digital ID), we’re launching our pet travel product to help people travel more easily with their dogs.

We’re a small team based remotely in Bath and at an exciting stage of growth. We’ve raised our first institutional round and are now preparing to launch our product into the market this summer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting user research, gathering feedback, and utilising this to continually improve the app’s user experience
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of designs is consistent with the intended user experience.
- Creating and adhering to brand guidelines, ensuring consistent brand representation across all digital platforms.
- Translate a brand’s vision and values into design elements that resonate with the target audience.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably for a B2C consumer business, designing user-centered interfaces for web and mobile.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and its impact on user experience, UX and web best practices, and responsive design techniques**.**:

- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma etc.

**Nice to have**:

- Portfolio showcasing your UI design skills and projects you have worked on
- Experience or knowledge with user research techniques and usability testing
