**The Role**

We require a highly motivated and experienced social work practitioner to join the Safeguarding, Quality and Practice Service at Tameside Adult Services.

It is an exciting time to join us as we begin our plans to reform and redesign Adult Social Care to implement the plans outlined in the white paper ‘People at the Heart of Care’.

The Practice Improvement Lead is an essential part the quality assurance framework for Adult Social Care. The post is part of a team of professional leads that work across Adult Services.

**About You**

You will be passionate about strength based practice and delivering a high standard of social work practice.

You will work with the Principal Social Worker for Adults to develop and embed a Quality Assurance Framework. This will include:

- Carry out regular themed audits to ensure a good standard of social work practice
- Lead on and support the coordination of learning reviews and subsequent action plans
- Collate and share themes from compliments and complaints to support learning across Adult Social Care
- Share best practice and learning from reviews at staff events
- Develop and standardise policies and procedures
- Lead on how we embed the voice if lived experience within the Q&A Framework

You will work alongside work alongside Adult Social Care Teams to collate and analyse data from audits to recognise trends and support the development of teams in terms of targeted pieces of workforce development or reviews of policies and procedures.

1. Relevant professional qualification for the job role at Level 6 or above AND a management qualification, AND

2. Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in the role, AND

3. Maintained membership of a regulated body where this is a requirement to practice in the role where applicable, AND

4. Professional standards practised to the highest expected level.
