Social Worker - Court Team - Sandwell - £30,451 - £40,876 per annum + up to £6,500 relocation paymentAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Court Team in Sandwell, which is based within the newly realignedOperations Service.Your role will be based in a locality model with a focus on good quality assessments and dynamic planning which will deliver timely evidence-based interventions and the progress of pre-proceedings/care proceedings through to permanency planning.This service will strengthen partnership working with families in local communities.As a Social Worker, you will benefit from:Great transport linksPosition that provides great career enhancementFriendly and supportive teamSupportive managementProgression andSecondment opportunitiesAverage caseload will be 18 per worker, the service are looking to get this to 15Brand new offices and facilities open planThe opportunity to work flexibly, the team are open to discuss hours to suit youResponsibilities as a SocialWorker:You will be responsible for a complex case load of children and young people, conducting a range of assessments whilst listening to the views of the people you're supporting.Whilst using best practice and ensuring all legislative requirements are met,you will deliver quality children's plans in a pro-active and timely manner, with a strong emphasis on the child's voice.Empower children, young people, and their families/carers by listening to their views.Provide written reports, in a variety of differentformats as required by the receiver of the court.Essential requirements for the role of Social Worker:Qualified Social Worker, with post qualified experience in Children's ServicesExperience in court work, permanency planning and adoptionExcellent report writingskillsAbility to work well in a pressured environmentBe a supportive team playerExcellent time management skills in order to be able to work within court directed timescalesA current Enhanced DBS and to be registered with Social Work EnglandThe legal rightto work in the UK#LPC
