My client, within Financial Services, require a F5 Load Balancing SME for an initial 12 month contract.

The role is INSIDE of IR35 and requires 2 days a week in London.

Key Tasks
- Responsible for setting roadmaps, knowing the product inside out and all the way down to performance/processors.
- Working on 80% project work and providing 20% BAU support
- Key ongoing projects: Upgrade programme, a few cloud projects and currently redesigning some of their data centres.
- Must have expert hands-on working knowledge with F5 LTM/GTM. (Avi VMware ALB and other vendors a plus)
- Scripting ability: (Python/Perl/Bash)
- Experience with networking protocols (BGP, TCP, HTTP, DNS,)
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities creating and managing automation and orchestration frameworks (ansible, puppet, salt, jinja etc)
- Identify technical risks and provide/recommend mitigation strategies.
- Strategy development, roadmaps, defining global processes and standards
- Vendor engagement and management, capturing business requirements and analysis of next generation technologies
