TranSwap UK is a scale up e-money and payment services provider looking to support UK businesses with their day to day local and international payment requirements by way of leveraging local, regional and international payment rails.

The Role
The UK Head of Compliance will report to the UK Country Head, supporting members of the UK Executive Team in furthering policies, procedures and assisting in bringing e-money products and solutions to market.
As the Chair of the UK Risk Committee, you will be expected to deliver detailed assessments of current risks that the business may face as well as providing analysis of potential future risks through horizon scanning to the Board of Directors.

What You Will Need to Succeed
This is an exciting role where you will engage with the Product, Operational, Sales and Marketing teams to support our internationally focused portfolio of SME clients. You will need significant leadership experience in compliance alongside FCA guideline knowledge. The Head of Compliance will interface, liaise and develop positive relationships with regulators, industry associations and policy organisations and provide insights and trends to enable senior management to make effective risk-based decisions. You will also be the MLRO for the company
You will have over five years experience in a similar role with significant exposure across FCA guidelines and AML. This is a practical role, that requires a hands on, can do approach. We are looking for someone with the ambition to take their career as well as the growth of the business to the next level.

Location

The Head of Compliance role is partially remote however being on-site in Edinburgh is required at least once a week. Travel on a limited basis to Singapore and Europe may be required to support the global compliance strategy across the TranSwap Group.
