Seven Resourcing is working with Eurovia Services in the Isle of Wight to recruit for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager.

Permanent Role.

£44,000 - £48,000pa - however there can be negotiations based on experience.

**Job Purpose**:
To achieve an efficient and reliable commercial service that supports the needs of the various business departments and client requirements.

**Duties**:

- Take a leading role in the production of BoQ's from design drawings and building scheme costs from existing schedule of rates or from sub-contractor prices.
- Work with internal design teams, client and supply chain to develop design solutions and achieve best value.
- Understand the commercial implications of contract performance standards and support delivery teams to achieve business improvement.
- Support the timely delivery of low value client job quotations compiling from pre agreed schedule of rates
- Support the identification and delivery of third party income revenues from related highway and civil engineering activities
- Contribute to continual improvement of health and safety standards.

**Applicant Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Member of appropriate professional body

**Experience**:

- Good practical working knowledge of highway or civil engineering activities
- Good knowledge of highway forms of contract
- Proven ability to deliver similar role

**Compliance**:Up to date Passport

**Travel**:Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

**Hours**:37 hours p/w.
