We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Specialist to join our direct marketing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers in our retail environment, providing exceptional service, promoting our products and services, and supporting our marketing initiatives. You will help create a positive shopping experience for customers, handle inquiries, and assist with in-store marketing campaigns. This position is ideal for someone passionate about customer service and looking to grow within a retail and marketing-driven environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service in the retail environment by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and offering assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
- Promote products, services, and ongoing direct marketing campaigns to customers, ensuring they are informed about current promotions and offers.
- Handle customer transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information about features, benefits, and pricing to guide purchasing decisions.
- Track and record customer interactions, feedback, and preferences in the CRM system to improve customer engagement and tailor marketing campaigns.
- Support the execution of in-store marketing initiatives, including setting up product displays, signage, and promotional materials.
- Help manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring that promotional products are well-stocked and visually presented in line with marketing efforts.
- Assist with customer loyalty programs, collecting and managing customer data to promote ongoing engagement with marketing campaigns.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional, efficient, and empathetic manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure that retail campaigns are aligned with overall marketing objectives, providing insights for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, ensuring that all products and displays are well-maintained and aligned with branding guidelines.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
- Knowledge of retail marketing strategies and direct marketing techniques.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Positive, customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
