Carter Murray are pleased to have partnered with a world leading technology policy consultancy who are looking to add a Policy Consultant to their team to focus on the UK and European markets. This role will have a split ficus on Business Development andacting as a strategic policy consultant.

In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to shape their ambitious Policy practices, work with multi-disciplinary teams and to influence the direction of the technology sector in the face of ongoing change. Ideally, you will have a track recordgrowing businesses or practice areas within the Public Policy space.

This role will see you working with a diverse, international client base of technology giants and start-ups as well as the opportunity to work on exciting international projects on behalf of the industry's leading names.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a strategic policy consultant for some of the worlds biggest and leading technology companies, working with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver transformative solutions and provide guidance.
- Generate consultancy income from existing and new clients by developing a network of contacts.
- Deliver a proactive growth plan, identify new business opportunities, including new clients, new markets, new partnerships or new products and services.
- Build and maintain client relationships to assess their needs and develop proposals to address their requirements.
- Contribute to thought leadership and drive business profile in your target market.
- Participate in the active growth of the business.
- Manage and mentor the development of junior consultants.

**What you will bring**
- Expertise in Public Policy, ideally technology related within a professional services firm, with a strong understanding of the UK & European market.
- Consultancy skills with the ability to think strategically and to balance delivery with innovation.
- Ability to establish and manage long lasting stakeholder relationships.
- Broad understanding of digital technologies and telecommunications regulatory frameworks, politics and trends.
- Project management experience.
