Material Handler

**Job Purpose**:
The Material Handler oversees the receipt, movement and storage of all manufactured items within the manufacturing and assembly side of our business.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities for the role are:

- Collate, count and check components and assemblies for use our manufacturing process
- Assist with the collation of parts for our manufacturing processes.
- Liaise with the Paint Shop, Picking and Packing Metals shop to ensure all parts are being prepared ready for use.
- Using our MRP system to track work.
- Take up follow up actions to ensure jobs are completed.
- Locate and control material status.
- Ensure the transactions of materials are up to date of allocation to the jobs.
- Work closely with Paint Shop, Metal Shop, product assembly and stores teams.
- Countercheck all transactions are complete prior to delivering of product.
- Ability to set priorities and evaluate workload.
- Organise and have attention to detail and ability to complete tasks as assigned.
- Work effectively and safely as part of a team.
- Develop and maintain relationships between departments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 3 years (preferred)
