ESG REC are working with one of the world’s leading specialist engineering firms working to tackle complex and critical decarbonisation projects that will truly change the world we live in.

You will also get the opportunity to lead on other new and upcoming projects and proposals as well as supporting your colleagues and peers to help them understand the key issues within the maritime decarbonisation space.

**Your background**:
This is a technical role that also calls for soft skills. You will have extensive knoweldge and understanding of the maritime decarbonisation sector and:

- Policy knowledge (such as those set out by the International Maritime Organisation - IMO)
- An understanding of the Maritime sector and the associated sustainability challenges
- Strong project management skills
- Coding and or modelling expertise
- Excellent communication skills

Additionally, an understanding of one or more of the following would be highly advantageous - Vessel design, alternative fuels for maritime vehicles, carbon pricing mechanisms, monitoring and reporting tools. Given the global nature of our client, any additional languages would also be an advantage.

This is a hybrid role and could be based in the UK or another European country. Eligibility to work in either region is required.
